Naming & Welcoming
Welcome a new arrival in your own way, with your people gathered around you. This ceremony allows family and friends to express their wish to support the child/children in the most beautiful way. A name shapes and identifies a person. Welcome new children and members to your blended family. A ceremony shows everyone the bond you have made, your commitment to one another and the wishes you pledge to each other.
A Little About Me
I’m Christine Gatward-Stables, a qualified independent celebrant based in West Norfolk. I write and lead ceremonies for people who want something honest and personal, not something read from a script. Whatever brings you here, I’ll make sure every word counts.
I enjoy creating heartfelt ceremonies full of joy, laughter and special moments. A ceremony you and your guests will not forget. I work with couples, families and communities across Norfolk and beyond in village halls, farm buildings, gardens, and amongst the beautiful countryside.

Booking
If you'd like to go ahead, I ask for a 25% deposit for me to start writing your story.

Meet & Greet
Let's meet up at your venue, or somewhere comfortable for you where I can ask you about your story. You can tell me where you met, funny tales, romantic tales. Heartfelt moments in your relationship and why you are making this commitment to one another. We can chat about how you want your celebrations to come to life.

Final Touches
Once you have booked me, I am available to you. I will start to write your story. We can set up a WhatsApp group, or you can email me at any time. So, if you think of something you want to add or take away just let me know. Two months before your celebration we will go over your story in person and make any final changes you need. At this stage, I ask for the remaining fees to be paid in full.

On the Day
I will arrive early to check that the ceremony space is just right. I will meet your guests, hand out confetti, the order of services and anything else I can do to be of any last-minute help! Following the ceremony, I will slip off quietly, leaving you to celebrate your special day with your family and friends. As a memento, I will leave a souvenir script as a treasured keepsake of your special day.
